At Northbend Church, our kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. Your child’s safety is a priority and we have processes in place to maintain that safety. To help keep kids interested, we incorporate video into our lessons, have classroom activities, and we even have a snack for the smaller kiddos. We truly believe that we are doing everything we can to help give your child a firm foundation of faith in their lives. We would love to see you and your family visit Northbend Kids.
Our Kids Ministry is separated into four different age groups:
Nursery: for ages 0-3
Pre-K: for age 3 - Kindergarten
1st-3rd: for 1st-3rd graders
4th-6th: for 4th-6th graders
Nursery and Pre-K can be checked in and taken to class no sooner than 10 minutes before service begins. We want the older kids to experience worship in “big church,” so 1st-6th grade will be dismissed from our main service after the third song to go back to class.
First, find the area in the corner of the lobby for Child Check-In. There, we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and let you know what to expect during the service.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
Parent/Guardian name(s)
Child's name
Child's birthdate
Home address
Phone number
Parent/Guardian Email
Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
Before Service: You can check-in your child at the check in desk or using our self check-in kiosk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag. You can check your child in at any time.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, our kids volunteers will send you a text message or a phone call to let you know what it happening. From there, we ask that you would exit the sanctuary and go to your child’s room and meet with them and the kids volunteer.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
